1982 was a difficult year for those living in Britain. Argentina invaded the Falkland Islands and the coal miners went on strike, throwing the country into darkness at times. British troops secured a victory in the south Atlantic, against difficult odds, and regardless of whose side you were on, Margaret Thatcher's government won the admiration of people from many countries who saw that famous old British spirit win the day.
On a lighter note, on the 29th of March 1982 Creek Audio sold its first legendary CAS 4040 integrated amplifier here in the UK to Audio Projects in Leeds. The 4040 helped Creek Audio to secure its place worldwide in the hearts of more than 30,000 hi-fi enthusiast looking for an honest British product that punched above its weight. 25 years later Creek Audio continues to build its customer base, year on year by staying true to it's roots.
So today, on the 29th March 2007, Creek Audio would like to thank everyone who has helped us to achieve such an enviable place in today's highly competitive market.
I hope we may continue to please Hi-Fi enthusiasts for another 25 years to come, because, "you ain't seen nothing yet"!

13,000 readers of the highly acclaimed German Stereoplay magazine recently voted on the year's best products. The results were announced last week and we are delighted to confirm that Creek received three separate 2007 awards.
The EVO CD player has been judged to be the best player at under 1,000 Euro, an exceptional performance given the number of products in that particular category.
The EVO amplifier received a third place award for amplifiers below 2,000 Euro, again a remarkable achievement.
Creek's Destiny CD player received a third place award for CD players over 1,000 Euro.
Creek products attract a large following in Germany and it gives us a great deal of pleasure to know that our products not only live up to, but no doubt exceed the expectations of the country's discerning consumers.

| There are some signs of very clever thinking here.................Imaging is remarkably assured in both sideways and depth dimensions with the notably high end trait of maintaining the position of the instruments irrespective of overall dynamics........the end result is that anything with a danceable beat really does get the feet moving involuntarily. |
